Of course, Cordillera starts with magnificent Golf. Cordillera is home to four spectacular courses from the world’s great golf course designers-Nicklaus, Fazio, Pelz, and Irwin. Our courses extend from the “Vail Valley” floor to the “Summit” at 9500 ft. The fun doesn’t stop when the snow flies. In winter, Cordillera turns into a wonderland. Cordillera has its own facility, The Cordillera Vail Club, at the foot of the Vista Bahn Chair, in the heart of Vail Village.

In addition to the Vail Club, private daily shuttles take you
to Vail or Beaver Creek; free ski clinics are offered every week; miles
of manicured trails are maintained for cross country skiing and snow
shoeing, with rental equipment readily available; and, finally, homeowners
and members can use a private skating rink that is lighted for nighttime
use.

Wind your way through Cordillera’s 7000 acres and miles & miles of beautifully maintained private trails that give the hiking or biking enthusiast the freedom to explore the magnificent Colorado countryside. Many of these trails adjoin and enter the National Forest, opening up another million or so acres to explore.

Cordillera doesn’t forget tennis lovers. Whether you like the bounce of all-weather or Hard True, there are courts to please you spread throughout the communities. Cordillera is one of the very few communities in the West that OWNS its own piece of private river heaven. This gives Cordillera property owners and members private access to almost two miles along both sides of the Eagle River- for year round, world-class trout fishing; as well as spring and summer white water rafting. You can do all this on your own. Or you can use the services of our private guides.

We have state-of- the-art workout facilities and swimming pools in every neighborhood Clubhouse where you can work out on your own or join in one of the many classes, which cover everything from Pilates, to spin, to yoga, to guided hikes or snowshoeing. In the heart of Cordillera sits a spectacular Equestrian Center that includes indoor/ outdoor riding arenas, boarding stalls with daily turn outs, as well as outdoor living paddocks and training facilities. From here, you can access thousands of acres of National Forest trails that retrace the footsteps of Colorado’s earliest pioneers.
